The All Kids Play team is a diverse, thoughtful, and energetic set of leaders that are passionate about youth sports. “We have all had sports experiences that have helped shape us into who we are today.” It’s important to all of us that any kid who wants to play, gets to play, and also has access to a positive, character-building experience.
As a former collegiate athlete who has been playing sports since the age of nine, Jasmine has always had a passion for playing. Sports afforded her many opportunities in life, including a playing field to learn important life lessons such as how to win and lose gracefully, the importance of playing as a team, and how to persevere to achieve a goal. She believes every kid should have the opportunity to experience these valuable lessons and enjoy sports as much as she did.
Jasmine has more than 15 years of leadership experience across the military and business. Prior to co-founding All Kids Play, she was a marketing executive in the consumer packaged goods industry and an officer in the United States Army. Jasmine graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and grew up in Carrollton, Ohio. She currently lives in Deerfield, Illinois and enjoys playing basketball, volleyball and baseball with her husband and three kids.
Jason has been in and around sports his whole life as a player, coach, referee and now parent to youth athletes. He credits much of his academic and professional success to the life lessons he learned growing up as a youth athlete. Jason is very well aware of the challenges that many families face to keep their kids involved in youth sports. Jason is on a mission with All Kids Play to transform the lives of the next generation of youth athletes by providing access to high-quality youth sports opportunities.
Jason has been an attorney for over 20 years. In addition to co-founding All Kids Play and serving as it’s Program Director, Jason has represented some of the world’s largest brands in sports. Jason has significant experience representing sports organizations in connection with all aspects of their management and legal affairs. Jason graduated from Michigan State University and DePaul University College of Law. He currently lives in Northbrook, Illinois and enjoys playing soccer, basketball and baseball with his wife and two kids.
Ron attributes much of his development and character to sports, and he strongly believes that lessons learned on the field translate well into the business world and life. As Treasurer of All Kids Play, Ron is helping to expand the gift of sports and the life lessons they provide to kids that may not otherwise have such an opportunity.
Ron brings tremendous finance and accounting experience to All Kids Play. He is the owner of R Rochester Business Services, LLC, and he primarily works with small business owners on developing and implementing strategic plans that align with their business and personal goals. He has experience in commercial lending, real estate, financial planning and analysis, and corporate finance. Ron enjoys the challenge of working in different industries and with a variety of personalities on a daily basis.
Devon grew up in a rural area of Ohio where opportunities can be few and far between for hard working families. She recognizes that many families face the same challenges everywhere, and these families struggle to pay for increasingly expensive, yet critically important, youth sports. She joined the All Kids Play team hoping to help provide quality youth sports experiences to all kids, especially those that lack the resources to play.
Devon is a senior marketing pipeline and commercial strategist tenured in precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, biotech and pharma. She has over 20 years of experience in pathology and oncology markets. Devon is currently the Director of Strategic Alliances and Practice Engagement at the College of American Pathologists (CAP). “Prior to joining CAP, she worked in leadership positions at Ameripath, Quest Diagnostics, and QIAGEN. Devon graduated from Kent State University and grew up in Carrollton, Ohio.” She currently resides in Highland Park, Illinois with her husband and three children.
Joe believes every kid should have the opportunity to play sports, no matter their age, gender, ability or zip code. “Having grown up in Colorado, Joe spent his youth outside, golfing, skateboarding, bmxing, snowboarding and mountain biking. As a business leader, Joe knows how well sports prepare kids for life.” He’s passionate about All Kids Play’s mission and is excited to get and keep more kids in the game.
Joe has spent over 25 years in life sciences, leading hundreds of engagements as a consultant at bioStrategies Group, Capgemini, and IQVIA. Joe currently is a Senior Vice President of Strategy for BW Health Consulting and also serves as All Kids Play’s Fundraising and Marketing Director. He began his career at Abbott, launching products in oncology, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal, and has served as Vice President of Marketing for QIAGEN, a biotech pioneer in companion diagnostics. Joe earned a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Notre Dame and an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He currently resides in Highland Park, Illinois with his wife and three kids.
Growing up, sports were an integral part in Ryanne’s life, both on and off the field, teaching her many life skills such as teamwork, determination, and commitment that makes her the person she is today. She attributes these experiences to helping her become “an athlete in life” and is passionate about finding ways to pay it forward so others can access and enjoy the same opportunities.
Ryanne excelled at team sports and earned a spot on the U17 US National Soccer Team. She played Division I soccer at Southern Methodist University where she captained the Lady Mustangs to their first Final Four appearance. She finished her soccer career playing professionally in Munich, Germany on the International stage.
Ryanne is a successful and reputable Senior Real Estate Broker with At Properties. She balances work while being an active parent in her community and sideline cheerleader for her two children. She and her family reside in Northbrook, Illinois with their Labrador, Rosie.
As a private sector business leader, Rashidi brings a diverse set of leadership skills and personal experiences drawn from a childhood of playing sports like tennis, riding skateboards, and sandlot baseball games that eventually evolved to playing college football at the United States Military Academy at West Point. “He firmly believes in the power of sports and competition to teach lessons that are applicable throughout life.” The life lessons learned through sport should not be reserved only for a select group but made available to anyone that has a desire to play.
Rashidi is currently the Managing Director of Tequila & Regional Brands at Beam Suntory, and has more than 20 years of leadership experience across the military and business. “He has worked in marketing and management consulting at major consumer packaged goods companies, including Kraft Foods and The Wonderful Company.” Rashidi started his career as an officer in the United States Army, during which he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Rashidi is originally from Oakland, California and now resides in Deerfield, Illinois where he enjoys skateboarding and bike-riding with his wife and three kids.
As a single mother with a very active son that loves sports, Donna realizes the emotional and physical development opportunities that playing sports can provide. Being a single parent, she understands the significant strain the financial commitment to play sports places on families. Donna believes that sports can afford her son many opportunities in life, including a playing field to learn important life lessons such as how to win and lose gracefully, the importance of playing as a team, and how to persevere to achieve a goal. She believes every kid should have the opportunity to experience these valuable lessons, which is why she joined the All Kids Play team.
Donna is a Senior Legal Assistant at CDK Global, LLC, a global technology company headquartered in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, where she runs the collections portfolio and assists with civil and employment litigation matters. Donna attended Roosevelt University’s Paralegal Studies program and grew up in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. She currently lives in Deerfield, Illinois and enjoys spending time with her son and encouraging him to be a strong team player and a compassionate, loving and caring individual.
Andrew has been involved in youth sports for the majority of his life. “Andrew coached travel basketball for ten years and built lifelong relationships with the players and families he coached.” His graduate dissertation developed a program called PLAY: Performance and Lowered Anxiety in our Youth, to promote healthy character development for youth athletes. “Andrew teamed with athletic organizations and park districts to educate over 800 coaches and parents.” Andrew is a firm believer that sports provides life lessons and healthy development for amateur athletes to find fulfillment and success in life.
Andrew is a licensed clinical psychologist, working at Affiliates in Counseling, with children, adolescents, adults, and families for over ten years. “Andrew’s experience includes working at Children’s Memorial Hospital, The Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School at The University of Chicago, Jewish Child and Family Services, Compass Health Center, and an adjunct professor at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, teaching sport psychology courses.” One of Andrew’s specialties is working with amateur athletes struggling with confidence, frustration tolerance, and performance anxiety. “Andrew is passionate about his work and takes great pride in providing a strong therapeutic relationship to help clients navigate the trials and tribulations of what life brings.” Andrew currently resides in Deerfield, Illinois with his wife, daughter, son, and dog.
