All Kids Play is proudly supporting the
John T. MaGee Middle School Dance Team!
John T. MaGee Middle School is located in Round Lake, Illinois where nearly 70% of students qualify as low income. In an effort to get more students engaged in positive physical activity, one of the school social workers, also a dance instructor, started a dance team for twenty middle school girls.
However, the school did not have the budget for uniforms or equipment for the team since it was a club sport, and there was no seed money for fundraisers. The coach came to All Kids Play for help, and we were happy to jump in and make sure this team had uniforms in time for their performance at the annual Round Lake School Black History Month Celebration, during which they performed with grace and confidence in front of the entire community.
